The 2009 pilgrimage was held on Friday and Saturday, August 21-22.
The 2008 pilgrimage took place on Friday and Saturday, August 22-23. The weekend was filled with many opportunities for prayer, reflection, reconciliation, and fellowship. Our new bishop, Bishop Gerald Dino, was with us for the first at the pilgrimage. Also Fr. Christopher Zugger, author of The Forgotten, offered a presentation on Mary and the growth of the Byzantine Catholic Church in the United States. In addition, the Byzantine Challenge took on the form of a contest between teams of five members who competed against each other in answering questions related to Church history, the sacraments, and Catholic beliefs.
